# Peter Forret

**CTO, software architect and entrepreneur.** Innovating cinema advertising technology since 2006.

**Since 2024, A.I. is at the centre of my work**, in two ways:

- **A.I. for software development:** I build software together with A.I. coding agents like Claude Code, from RPA automation, to design systems and developer tooling.
- **A.I. for media processing:** video, speech and language models that analyse trailers, ads and news: automated quality control and age rating ([DCProof](<https://www.forret.com/portfolio/dcproof/index.md>)), media processing and admissions forecasting.

Before that: three decades of software architecture, from PKI and digital notarisation to cinema advertising technology. Technical Director at Brightfish, founder of [DCProof](<https://www.forret.com/portfolio/dcproof/index.md>), and the author of a pile of open-source Bash tools.
