Some background: I've been fooling around with music & software for a couple of years now. I play the drums and the bass, and I get a kick out of smooth house music. Check out smoothouse.org to hear some. I'm a fond user of Sonic Foundry's ACID software: I started out with ACID Express in 1999, and have now BOUGHT (oh yes) ACID Pro 4.0 It's great! All of the mixes here have been made with it. I use samples and loops that either come with the software, or that I sampled from my own CDs. Recently I've also started fooling around with AudioMulch and Ableton Live. |
